This document serves as a Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy for Global Business Designs web hosting. Questions, complaints, or comments should be directed here.

Global Business Designs agrees to provide client web hosting for a monthly or annual fee. Clients are permitted to use the services provided by Global Business Designs for commercial and/or private use as outlined by the Terms of Service found on this document. Violations of the Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate suspension or cancellation of service.

Global Business Designs reserves the right to determine what violates policy and as such, any violation may result in cancellation of services without a refund.

Content:

All services provided by Global Business Designs may be used for lawful purposes only. Any use, storage, presentation, or transmission of any unlawful data is strictly prohibited. This includes pornographic material, unlicensed or pirated software, or any other type of copyrighted material.

Adult Content:

Global Business Designs has a strict policy of prohibiting any and all pornography or sex-related merchandising. This includes sexual content as well as "linking" to adult content elsewhere on the web. Global Business Designs will be the sole arbitrator as to what constitutes a violation of this policy.

Background-running programs & scripts:

Background-running programs are not allowed. This includes any web-based chat scripts as well as IRC related software such as bouncers or bots.

Spam:

The use of Spam is strictly prohibited on our servers. Customers should not ever make use of Global Business Designs services to spam, mail bomb, flame, or send unsolicited email messages. Your domain should not be used as reference as originator, intermediary, or reply-to-address in any of the above. A message is considered unsolicited if it is posted in violation of a newsgroup charter or if it is sent to a recipient who has not requested or invited the message. Emails sent to a customer or newsletter is not considered spam.

Abuse:

Any attempts to undermine, slander, libel, threaten, or cause harm to a Global Business Designs server, customer, employee, or the company directly is strictly prohibited and is considered grounds for immediate cancellation of an account without refund.
