Originally from California, my love for design began long before I knew it could become a career. I grew up immersed in creativity — learning floral arranging from my Nanny and craftsmanship from my Pappy in my grandparents’ arts and crafts business. Those early lessons shaped not only my skillset, but my belief that beautiful, intentional spaces have the power to make people feel something lasting.

 

In 2001, I moved to New York City after being accepted into a theater arts academy. After completing my training, I spent years performing across the United States, absorbing the architecture, culture, and design nuances of every city I visited. Theater taught me how environment shapes emotion — how lighting, texture, scale, and movement all work together to tell a story. That understanding still influences every event I design.

 

Drawn fully into the world of events, I returned to New York and refined my craft working alongside some of the city’s most respected event designers. Those experiences, paired with my own aesthetic — grounded yet elegant, layered yet intentional — led to the creation of GB Designs.

 

Today, GB Designs is rooted in one core belief: when you surround yourself with beauty that feels personal and meaningful, it creates moments that linger. Every event is thoughtfully curated to reflect my clients’ passions, elevated into an experience that resonates long after the last guest leaves.
